Visit Camel’s Hump
If you’re up for a steep hike to experience beautiful views, put a visit to Camel’s Hump on your to do list.
Be prepared to ascend 500m to reach the top of this ancient rocky outcrop. If the climb isn’t your cup of tea, there are other walks around its base you can enjoy instead.
Camel’s Hump is the highest peak in the Macedon Ranges and one of the many natural attractions you can visit on Mt Macedon.
Visitors often include a visit to the summit of the mountain to see Mt Macedon Memorial Cross. Or reward their hiking efforts with a Devonshire Tea at Top of the Range Tea Rooms.
