Each year artists across Macedon open their studios to the public. It’s the opportunity to experience what a working artist studio is like, and to speak with artists about their works.
Enjoy a day in Macedon and Mt Macedon visiting open art studios of working artists.
Studios are large and small, all in garden settings within a short drive of each other.
Share inspiration and creations in a range of media including ceramics, printmaking, encaustic wax and oil painting, textile art, contemporary botanic art, watercolour and pencil portraits. Original works are on display and for sale.
Enjoy the natural beauty of Macedon while combining art and food available from the nearby cafes. During the annual Open Studios event, artist studios are open from 10-4 each day. Entry is free.
Look for the brochures with map to the studios at local cafes or pick one up at The Gallery Mt Macedon in the heart of Mt Macedon village.
