The Macedon Ranges is a perfect starting point to explore the Central Highlands and Spa Country of Victoria.

Daylesford and Hepburn Springs

The Daylesford and Hepburn Springs region is just a short drive via Woodend. The area is renowned for its luxury accommodation and gourmet regional food and wine, as well as having the highest concentration of naturally occurring mineral springs in the country.

Take in the bustling Daylesford township over a cup of coffee and alfresco meal, the beautiful Daylesford Lake while browsing for a book, or tuck yourself away in an isolated corner of Hepburn Springs with a massage and open fire.

Trentham

The little village of Trentham is a scenic drive from either Daylesford or Kyneton. Pay a visit to one of its delightful cafes, historic Cosmopolitan Pub, Red Beard Sour Dough Bakery or Trentham Falls.

The Macedon Ranges is connected with the Hume Highway via Lancefield through Kilmore and Heathcote. The main street of Kilmore features a dozen fine heritage buildings where arts, crafts and antiques abound. Heathcote is home to some of the best Shiraz-growing wineries in the world.
