Holgate Brewhouse in Woodend are renowned for their craft beer and have an amazing brewery and tap room to show for it. They also run brewery tours so you can learn more about their methods. Located in the heart of town, you can easily make a day of it by visiting shops and restaurants along High Street.
The Lost Watering Hole Brewery in Lancefield will be opening its doors in late 2022. Specialising in German-style beers, this is one brewery not to be missed. A great day out in the countryside tasting delicious craft beer!

Mountain Gin Distillery is an award-winning artisan gin brand with a tasting room in New Gisborne open on weekends. Known for using botanicals foraged in the forests of Mt Macedon, this distillery door offers a range of gin, vodka and single malt whiskey to taste and purchase.
Big Tree Distillery is located on a farm run by a gin-loving couple who have turned their dreams into award-winning small-batch gin. Their friendly cellar door serves up gin tasting flights and tasting platters with a big dose of country hospitality.

Animus Distillery is a popular bar and cocktail lounge in the heart of Kyneton’s historic district. Here you can taste their award-winning small-batch gin and delicious cocktails. We recommend getting one of their amazing produce platters to enjoy with your tipple.
Gindu is a proudly Australian multi-award-winning distillery that calls the Macedon Ranges home. Inspired by Australia’s evocative landscapes and unique botanicals, they distill this down, and Gindu is the result. For tastings and purchases of this special gin visit Woodend’s High Street.
