The Macedon Ranges has three botanic gardens located in Gisborne, Malmsbury and Kyneton. They are just the spot for a picnic with family and friends. Enjoy a stroll along Jacksons Creek Reserve in Gisborne or the Campaspe River in Kyneton after your lunch.

Parks & reserves

Macedon Regional Park offers a number of picnic spots including wood-fire barbecue facilities. Days Picnic Ground on the way to the summit of Mt Macedon is particularly popular. Make sure to explore the forest on a bush walk first!
