More from Pom-Me-Granite Studios

Ceramist Emma Jimson is passionate about plaster and porcelain, designing products for function, crafting fermentation vessels and providing a space where creatives can gather to get curious, connect, learn, develop skills and grow.

Our studio and gallery are open Sunday and Monday from 10.30 – 4.30pm. All other times by appointment.

Pom-me-granite workshops are held in a working ceramics studio in an inspiring rural setting surrounded by fields of lavender. You’ll meet like-minded souls and gain confidence through gentle guidance and experimentation.

Workshops include a fabulously fun 2 hour ‘bowls and bubbles’ session, make your own piece of porcelain tableware, delving into the fascinating process of model and mould making, and making and using porcelain slip to cast forms.

Classes cater for absolute beginners through to professional potters seeking to incorporate plaster moulds into their ceramic practice.

Beautiful handmade ceramics are not something to be stored in the cupboard for special occasions – they can be used every day to bring pleasure and remind us of our connection to the earth.
