Welcome to PRATO, where old-world charm meets relaxed Mediterranean hospitality. Set in Kyneton’s original ice-works building, our restaurant has been thoughtfully renovated to preserve its industrial character creating a space that feels both nostalgic and fresh.

Specialising in Pinsa and Mediterranean-inspired share plates, our menu is a celebration of tradition and togetherness. Inspired by the dishes that filled our family tables — where meals stretched for hours and a never-ending parade of home-cooked delicacies brought people together — our seasonal menu reflects that same spirit. Fresh, vibrant, and made to be shared.

At the heart of our offering is Pinsa, a lighter, crispier take on pizza with ancient Roman roots. Our bases are made from a unique blend of wheat, rice, and soy flour, giving them a delicate texture that’s airy on the inside and delightfully crisp on the outside – perfect for topping with bold, Mediterranean flavours.

The kitchen opens from midday and serves food all day, so whether you’re after a long lunch, a late afternoon graze, or a relaxed dinner, we’re ready to welcome you.
