During the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival enjoy our delicious quiche/french tart, filled with lightly fried mushrooms and bacon pieces and flavored with parmesan cheese and parsley. Our quiche otherwise known as a Tart is a danish style with soft feta cheese and baby spinach leaves. It is flavored with parmesan, spring onion, and parsley. Both tarts are delicious served hot or cold.
Situated in the south-east gateway to the Macedon Ranges, in the village of Romsey, you will find our bistro, Verdure.
Verdure is a smart, casual, eatery offering dine in and takeaway, 7 days a week. We are the perfect place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks and coffee. Our menu is fresh, simple, seasonal and where possible locally sourced. Our appreciation and love of local produce extends to our local selection of beers and wines.
Table bookings are available, except public holidays. The bistro inside has been lovingly updated to create a relaxing, light filled and vibrant environment, complete with wood fire. Outside table seating is in a lush garden courtyard or covered seating at the entrance to watch the world go by.
While you’re with us, make sure you check out our retail selection. The current exhibition lining our walls is Romsey resident and fine art photographer Ralph Ewart. Ralph produces fine art images using Epson archival pigment inks and Canson archival papers and rags.
