Buttlejorrk Artists is a local mixed media art group. Starting as Buttlejorrk Potters the group has now been creating art in the Macedon Ranges for over 40 years, and because most of the potters had other skills it was decided to include other art forms, and the group reformed to Buttlejorrk Artists. Some of the founding members are still active within the group.

Work produced by the artists in the group over the years has included pottery, turned wood pieces, jewellery, a variety of items made from glass, paintings, textiles, paper artworks and baskets made from natural fibres.

The annual exhibition of Buttlejorrk Artists is on display in the Main Gallery of The Old Auction House, 52-56 Mollison St Kyneton, in line with the 2019 Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival. Open every day and free to view the exhibition is on display from September 12 – 30.

The 2019 exhibition features work by the following Buttlejorrk artists: Denise Martin, Cathy Grose, Cheiko Hester, Brandy Monteith, Jan Guest, Marg Altmann, Mim Osmelak, Pam Jackson, Pat Beasley, and Deidre Chestney.

Meet the artists Saturday September 14 2pm-4pm – all welcome.
