More from Malmsbury Botanic Gardens

Love the idea of a garden wedding? Established in the 1850s, the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens are one of Victoria’s earliest regional botanic gardens, encompassing a wonderful collection of trees and shrubs.

The central focal point of the gardens is the ornamental lake with a formed island at its centre. There are also views to the magnificent bluestone Malmsbury viaduct that is alongside the gardens. There are so many picture-perfect areas for your wedding!

You can also use the Malmsbury Town Hall that is located on the edge of the botanic gardens for your wedding reception. Meanwhile, the gardens themselves are only a few minutes’ walk to the local pub, cafes and railway line.

Please note, while bookings are essential, you cannot reserve a dedicated area within the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens – it’s first in best dressed on the day as to where you set up.

Booking forms and enquiries can be made directly with the Council. See website link for more details.
