Rust and Stardust explores the borders of this world and fantasy using the rusted, patinaed and forgotten treasures from a bygone era.

Regina has always been an avid collector of items that have an aged patina and a layer of history and character- rusty metal, tarnished silverware, verdigris copper, old keys, vintage pressed metal, nothing is too aged, just more antiqued!

Using simple techniques borrowed from every art form and profession Regina half assembles and half engineers each piece creating her unusual characters and friends she hadn’t yet met that she believes are already within her materials.

Capturing the colours, patinas and vibe of leaf fall in the Macedon Ranges, Rust and Stardust is on display as part of the inaugural Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival.
