Mushroom Foraging Workshops in Macedon

C the Market have run Foraging events in the Macedon region during the past 7 years. This is our third year teaming up with professional foragers, Richard Ford and his team at Australian Wild Herbs & Mushrooms to share with you an authentic Mushroom Foraging experience in the forests of Macedon.

These 2 – 2.5 hour educational focus workshops are hosted by professional Mushroom foragers and are in an easily accessible style so that we can all learn how to forage, where to forage and most importantly, the safest way to enjoy this uniquely Autumn activity. Suitable for anyone interested to learn how to recognise and safely collect edible mushrooms and further their fungi knowledge. This event focuses on identifying and collecting edible pine mushrooms and slippery jacks.

Please note these events are very similar to the past two years but a different style and format to our events in previous years. Price $89 per person.

ALL PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO HAVE ALL FORAGED MUSHROOMS CHECKED BY OUR ‘EXPERTS’ before removing from the plantations. We do not allow toxic mushrooms to be taken from the workshop.
