Hanging Rock Autumn Guided Walking Tour
Free guided ranger walk included with entry to Hanging Rock Reserve during the 2026 Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival. Discover the mystery of Hanging Rock during your mid-week visit this autumn. Make your way to the summit to enjoy sensational views. If you’re lucky, you might spot a koala along the way!
Ranger-guided tours to the summit of Hanging Rock are usually $25 per person, but are free of charge for visitors to the Macedon Ranges during the Autumn Festival, and specific to the displayed dates and times.
This is an incredible opportunity to see Hanging Rock on a guided tour completely free! The tour goes for approximately 60-90 minutes, depending on how long you might like to stay up at the Summit and enjoy the views. You can leave the tour at anytime to make your way back down to the market area as preferred.
Taking place across two dates from 11am. 8 April, 2026, and 15 April, 2026.
Please note that the general entry fee to Hanging Rock Reserve is still applicable.
No bookings required.
To join the tour, be at the meeting point by 11am. The meeting point is just below Hanging Rock Cafe, close to the ticket machines.
