Déjeuner à la française – french inspired long lunch at Hedge Farm
Erica Crowther has a resume cooking for A-list celebrities and chefs that has to be seen to be believed. Over the past 25 years Erica has accumulated a staggering repertoire of dishes based on classical and world cuisines. Working at the highest level—from Michelin starred restaurants in London to cooking for the Queen Mother at Cliveden House.
Her experience includes working with Marco Perrier White, Eric Chavot, Jean Georges Vongerichten (The Vong) and cooking for the likes of Sir Elton John, Madonna, Bill Gates, Sir Bob Geldof, Tom Hanks, Prince Harry, Prince William and Sir Richard Branson to name just a few.
The seven course menu will be matched with wines handcrafted by Macedon Ranges based winemaker Brian Martin from Hunter-Gatherer. Brian has spent the past 14 years making wine in the Macedon Ranges. His range of wines encompass ideals of faithful expression of site, the use of old-world wine-making practices and the application of new-world knowledge.
The Hunter-Gatherer range includes Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay, Riesling, Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Sangiovese and Sparkling Shiraz…… and you will be tasting most of these!
