More from The Mount Players

The Mountview Theatre in the Macedon Ranges is home to The Mount Players who were established in 1972.

Background
The original theatre, located on the same site, was the Presbyterian Church which was transformed into a cosy 50 seat theatre but sadly in 1983 the building was tragically lost in the Ash Wednesday Fires.  Over the next few years, thanks to a hardworking and dedicated small group of members and incredible generosity from other Victorian regional theatres, their new, purpose built theatre was finally completed and opened in 1990.
