More from Madame Vintage

Madame Vintage opened her store in 2023, and can be found in the charming hamlet of Malmsbury within the Macedon Ranges.

This enchanting store features a noticeably strong French vibe, as Madame has been influenced by the French aesthetic for many years, and is lucky to have visited France many times, always returning with a delightful array of goodies now directly available within Malmsbury.

Visit our store in Malmsbury Thursday to Sunday each week to discover a vast range of items that include:

  • An extensive range of French copper cookware & copper moulds
  • Silver plated cutlery & flatware
  • European crockery, crystal & glassware
  • Vintage & new linens
  • Clothing (women’s & childrens)
  • Plus a diverse range of books that include cooking, travel & children’s favourites’

As they say – something for everyone and taste.  (During your visit, you might also take time to enjoy all that Malmsbury has to offer, including the nearby magnificent railway viaduct within the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens.)

We are also the hosts of the popular Malmsbury Brocante Marchė events which continue to grow in popularity. The Brocante Marchė is held seasonally and feature a wonderful range of experienced vintage dealers with lots of unique and beautiful wares for visitors to uncover.

About Madame Vintage

Madame has been a purveyor of all things vintage for over 30 years. She has sold at Lancefield Antique Centre (that is sadly closed), antique fairs, Maling Road Antique Centre Canterbury, Chapel Street Bazaar in Windsor, & Waverley Antique Centre Glen Waverley. Following this, shops at the Queen Victoria Market on Victoria Street Melbourne from 1990 until 1992 when I was very surprised by the early arrival of twins. Madame returned to the same shop in 2015 with the assistance of one of those twins! The QVM atmosphere & patronage was very different to my previous experience so after one year I moved to a shop in North Melbourne for a couple of years with a close friend who specialised in French enamelware before we both returned to Chapel Street Bazaar. When Covid-19 hit I packed up and put everything in storage. In 2023 the current Malmsbury location became available and I was ready for a new experience. I have not been disappointed and absolutely love my shop, the town of Malmsbury, and the opportunity to meet new people everyday. During my tenure at the QVM I hosted a monthly Brocante Marchè in the top section of Shed C. I loved it and would have continued but for the pending renovation of the shed section at the QVM. In 2024 I hosted the first Malmsbury Brocante Marchė in the front & back garden of the property that the shop is located on. We are very supportive of women in business, plus new initiatives.
