Joseph Tawardros & Woodend Winter Arts Festival Launch

Woodend Winter Arts Festival 2023 launches its program with an explosion of colour in the hands of Joseph Tawardros; leading Oud virtuoso, composer and 6 time ARIA-award winner.

Hear and see Joseph Tawardros perform a selection of his own works in the intimate venue of St Ambrose Church in Woodend, and be among the first to discover what’s in store for this year’s Woodend Winter Arts Festival.

Joseph has performed his own works with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, BBC Symphony, Melbourne, WA and Adelaide Symphony, Ukraine National Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg, Academy of Ancient Music and his Concerto for Oud & Orchestra with Sydney Symphony was performed and released by ABC Australia in 2019. For one day only Joseph performs a selection of his own works in Woodend in a celebratory launch of the 2023 Winter Arts Festival.
