Midhill Vineyard at Romsey produces medal winning Sparkling Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Rose and Chardonnay.
First planted in 1993, the vines, now well established produce annually 2.5 – 3 tons/acre. At 540 meters elevation our cool situation is conducive to slow ripening fruit. Cold nights in autumn help to retain good natural acidity. We are following Sustainable Wine-growing principles.
Our flagship wine is a trophy winning Sparkling Blanc de Blancs. Its’ refreshing citrus flavour has yeast and honey overtones, and a long dry finish.
Rising in popularity is our aromatic Gewurztraminer, spicy, dry and fruit driven with hints of Turkish delight, rose-water and lychees.
