Banks Fine Wine is a small, independent, family owned wine shop in Kyneton, in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. Established in 2011, we bring together carefully chosen local, Australian and imported wines, with friendly advice to help you find a bottle you’ll enjoy.

A shop built on a love of wine

Owner Scott Banks found his way into the wine industry through a part-time retail job while studying. Working with excellent wines and people who cared deeply about them sparked an interest that eventually led him to open Banks Fine Wine.

That curiosity still shapes the shop. We look for wines with character, a sense of where they come from and good value at their price. Our shelves cover everyday drinking, bottles for a special dinner and wines to put away for another day.

Local discoveries and favourites from further afield

The Macedon Ranges is our home, and local wines are an important part of our selection. You’ll also find producers from across Australia and overseas, giving you plenty to explore alongside your familiar favourites. We stock a carefully selected range of craft beers and spirits too.
