Welcome to Rochford Schoolhouse

Rochford Schoolhouse an elegant boutique retreat situated in the heart of the Macedon Ranges. Built in 1857 and now a historical landmark, the old schoolhouse has been lovingly restored and tastefully decorated to be a peaceful and private escape for two. Be indulged with breakfast provisions and enjoy the best the region has to offer.
Steeped in history, Rochford Schoolhouse is now a self contained retreat. The schoolhouse has retained many of its original features including fireplace, high windows and soaring vaulted ceiling. The large gas leadlight, exposed brick walls and wrought iron fixtures give the schoolhouse its character and a romantic, cosy atmosphere.

A modern, sun-filled gallery includes breakfast room and bathroom with stone walled shower and luxury amenities. For winter getaways settle on one of the plump sofas in front of the roaring fire and enjoy a glass of local wine. In the warmer months share a bottle on the deck and take in the magnificent views of the valley. We invite you to relax and be immersed in nature at this secluded and romantic getaway. Enjoy breakfast at Rochford Schoolhouse.
