Constructed during the Victorian gold rush era, Campaspe Mill was part of the infrastructure that helped feed a rapidly growing colony. Surrounded by productive farmland and positioned close to reliable water, the mill played a practical role in transforming locally grown grain into flour for regional communities and beyond. Its solid bluestone walls, quarried nearby, remain a defining feature — both functional and beautiful.
