Synopsis – 3 New York widows meet once a month for tea before visiting their husbands’ graves. Ida is sweet-tempered and ready to begin a new life. Lucille is a feisty embodiment of the girl who wants to have fun, and Doris is priggish and judgmental, particularly when Sam the butcher enters the scene, along with that other woman! A story filled with laugh-out-loud humour and pathos about love, navigating grief and the challenges of moving on. The season runs from 20 Feb – 8 March.
