Macedon Ranges Visitor Information – inspiration before and during your visit
For assistance before and during your visit to the Macedon Ranges, we have two accredited Visitor Information Centres offering a wealth of information on attractions, places to stay overnight, events, shopping, eating out, and local services, plus maps, directions and local, regional and state-wide brochures.
Both Visitor Information Centres, in Woodend and Kyneton, are free to visit and provide information on all towns within the Macedon Ranges including Lancefield, Riddells Creek, Gisborne, Romsey, Macedon, Mount Macedon, Woodend, Kyneton, Malmsbury, and surrounds.
The Visitor Information Centre team include a mix of full-time team members, and passionate local volunteers who are ready to help support your visit using their local expertise to help you get the most from your time in the Macedon Ranges.
Whether you’re looking to explore Hanging Rock, Macedon Regional Park, open gardens, leafy parks, or enjoy our many historic villages on foot, the team at the Visitor Information Centre are ready to help. Uncover all the information you need for your visit so you can explore the Macedon Ranges with lots to see and do, along with feeling right at home in your choice of over 100 accommodation properties.
Please note that our Visitor Information Centres are closed for Christmas Day, and open late on Anzac Day from 1pm.
