LIST YOUR TOURISM EVENT FREE ON visitmacedonranges.com so it can appear on our What’s On page
Events must be held in the Macedon Ranges Shire, have a tourism focus, and offer an experience to visitors.
It is free to list your event on our website. You must include required event information when you submit your event listing. As the event operator, it is your responsibility to ensure appropriate event permits and/or insurance requirements are in place for your event.
IMPORTANT TIPS TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR FREE EVENT LISTING
1. An event hero image is mandatory, and this should preferably be an actual photo, ideally not a flyer. Visit Macedon Ranges reserves the right to utilise your event listing images to promote the event to visitors and locals via social media and our eNewsletter.
2. The event operator is responsible for selecting the correct event date/s and times when completing the form.
To be visible within our What’s On calendar, select each individual calendar date for your event. Add the start and end time for that day where applicable. Use the ‘copy down’ feature to save time when filling out each day.
3. Address Event address as can be found via Google Maps is also required. If it is a whole of town event, select the town as the location.
4. Bookings/Tickets Use the appropriate fields to link to your ticket booking page (where relevant) and /or your website. Please do not repeat these links in the event description.
Complete and submit the form below. Make sure to include your contact details if we need to check some detail with you. It may take up to 10 days for your event to be reviewed. Email visitmacedonranges@mrsc.vic.gov.au for any questions.

If your listing is published, we encourage you to tag and follow us on social media. Content is included at editorial discretion.
Tag us in posts. Invite us as an Instagram collaborator, or Facebook event host. We can’t wait to see your content.
