Shifty Fifty – Wombat Classic MTB Race
The Wombat Classic is a fun, family friendly MTB race held just outside Woodend on the Sunday 23 March.
The Wombat Classic is one of the iconic Shifty Fifty races and is a great season opener.
The bush here has some amazing fire trails and single track while featuring some scrubby bush and fast-rolling flats across the day for a bit of extra speed.
As always we have a 10 am start with a 25km, and 50km route option for riders, and eMTBs are of course always welcome. Oh, and we’ve got the Outer Wombat 50km gravel grind returning again in 2025.
