Wombat Classic Mountain Biking Event

The Wombat Classic mountain biking event uses the famous Wombat State Park mountain bike trails put together in one amazing loop where you see and experience it all.

The trail is great for mountain bike riders of all abilities, but you do need a mountain bike.

Start Time: 10am – All 50km classes

Course Description 50km: First raced in 2016 with over 400 riders the Wombat Classic was a hit.  In 2019 we raced this course was run again with some slight tweaks and was very well received indeed.  So why change a good thing.  Well there will of course be some tweaks but expect 50kms of the best single track the Wombat State Forest has to offer.

Course Description 25km:  New for 2020 the Wombat Classic will offer a shorter distance option.  This course will follow mostly the same for the first 15kms of the course but will then have a varied finish to achieve approx 25kms in distance.   Still jam packed with fun trails in the Wombat State Forest.
