Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony at Harvest
Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony at Harvest led by Uncle Glen Austin
Join us for a Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony led by Uncle Glen Austin as we close the 2026 Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival on Taungurung Country. Set among the autumn colours of St Pauls Park on Piper Street, Kyneton, this special gathering celebrates the spirit of the festival while inviting us to pause and reflect as the festival draws to a close.
As we conclude this year’s festival, we acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands and waterways on which the Macedon Ranges is located, the Dja Dja Wurrung (DJAARA), Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi‑wurrung Peoples. We recognise their living cultures, and their ongoing connection to Country.
We pay respect to Elders past and present, and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the Macedon Ranges for their continuing contribution to the cultural life of the community.
