‘The Wonder of Nature’ Exhibition at Dromkeen
Dromkeen is a stately National Trust homestead in the small hamlet of Riddells Creek, with beautiful gardens boasting a range of Australian native and European plants, a gazebo and two resident alpacas. Built-in 1889, Dromkeen was once the country estate of Judge Arthur Chomley and later became home to the world-famous Dromkeen Picture Book Art Collection.
The Macedon Ranges has a strong art culture and in particular, Dromkeen has been a strong supporter of the arts for many years. In support of that theme, Dromkeen is hosting ‘The Wonder of Nature’ art show that will bring together over 30 well recognised and emerging artists from across the region.
These artists will display a range of mediums to highlight the beautiful side of nature in visual form. This will be an exhibition of a diverse range of mediums, including oil painting, acrylic painting, water colourists, sculptors, woodworkers, textile artists and photographers.
This exhibition will highlight the high quality talent of the area through the theme of nature.
