TV Zoologist Chris Humfrey’s presents his Awesome Australian animals wildlife workshops at Jubilee Hall in Macedon.
- Learn about each animal’s classification, amazing adaptations, habitats, diet, threats and ecological niche!
- Get to see live koalas, adorable kangaroo joeys, critically endangered mountain pygmy possums, critically endangered brush-tailed bettong, grey-headed flying fox, sugar glider, ringtail possum, short-beaked echidna, tawny frogmouth, owls, parrots, laughing kookaburra, giant python snakes, crocodiles, lizards, turtle, frogs + other special guests!
Jubilee Hall is a Macedon Community treasure.
Ideally located in the heart of Macedon and within a short walk from Macedon train station.
Don’t worry about the ‘wild and woolly’ Macedon Ranges weather. Jubilee Hall is warm and inviting. There is plenty of vehicle parking and wheelchair access and so close to Macedon Township with plenty of meal and snack options.
Why not spend the day in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, you won’t want to leave!
When?
Wednesday 9 July, Thursday 10 July, and Friday 11 July 2025
Two sessions will take place each day.
Daily show times:
Session 1: 10.00am to 11.30am
Session 2: 1.00pm-2.30pm
Doors open 20 minutes prior to booked show times.
Tickets:
Limited number of people per show. 100 people maximum per session, to allow for quality interaction with Chris, his team, and the animals.
Tickets $30 per person (Children, adults, and concession holders all at the same price. However children under 2 years of age are free with an accompanying adult.)
There is simply no other wildlife show like this!
