Same Like Yesterday: Virlkuthalypila and Other Stories from Our Country offers a unique opportunity to engage with the rich cultural heritage of the Adnyamathanha people of the Flinders Ranges.
Created as a collaborative project between SharingStories Foundation and the Adnyamathanha community, this 30-minute projection-installation takes audiences on an unforgettable journey through Adnyamathanha Country, as six senior Adnyamathanha women and two young women travel through Ikura (the Flinders Ranges) in the footsteps of Virlkuthalypila, the Two Women from the Yura Muda (Dreamtime).
Best described as a giant paper pop-up book, this beautifully animated artwork will captivate adults and children alike with its vibrant illustrations, songs, and immersive Dreamtime storytelling.
All weekday sessions (excluding 10am) will be followed by a Q&A with members of the Adnyamathanha community and staff from SharingStories Foundation.
