Quintessential Mount Macedon Historic Garden Tour

Wander the exclusive historic gardens of Mount Macedon with us, on one of our spring day tours!
Mount Macedon VIC, Australia

We are very excited to open three of Mount Macedon’s privately-owned 19th-century historical gardens to you! For only three dates this spring, join us to explore the very special Glenrannoch, Duneira Estate and Durrol.

As we walk we will delve into the history and stories of each. Sublime Glenrannoch is nestled off the famous Devonshire Lane and showcases huge -tree ferns, historic trees, and moss-covered garden beds.

We will look through the largest garden on this tour, Duneira Estate, as well as the homestead that showcases Stuart Stoneman’s phenomenal and personal Art Collection. Enigmatic Durrol exudes country class with a magical Edna Walling garden and a recently installed Paul Bangay garden. The corner vegetable garden is a classic.

Lovers of history, art, gardens, and good local produce will love this exclusive and memorable adventure! This 10am – 3pm tour includes lunch, tea and coffee, and bus transport, leaving (and returning) from our office on Mt Macedon Rd, nestled in the heart of our Mount Macedon village, winner of the Victorian Top Tiny Tourism Town Victoria for 2022
