KCAT (kay-CAT) is a multi-site art exhibition presented over nine days in mostly non-traditional sites and venues throughout the regional Victorian town of Kyneton.

The inaugural KCAT took place in April 2018 and was themed ‘Force Fields’. For the second KCAT, in March 2022, the theme is ‘Holding the Circle’. Eleven artists from Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland have been invited to participate and present new context-sensitive artwork made in a variety of media.

Grounded in egalitarian exchange and collaboration, circle geometry holds space for diverse perspectives and experiences to be shared within communities. It encourages deep listening, learning and the sharing of lived experiences in ways that foster conversation and connection.

KCAT is conceived, developed and delivered by Kyneton Contemporary Inc.
