Gisborne Festival

Gisborne Festival is family community event run by Gisborne & District Lions Club.  Parade commences at 6.30pm and travels down Aitken Street, around to Hamilton Street and finishes at Gardiner Reserve.  This year in the parade we have Chinese Lions entertaining the crowd and Tubby the Robot will be with again.  Here there are Market Stalls of all varieties from 4.30pm with live entertainment on the stage all evening.  Carnival rides for the adventurous and free activities for younger ones. This includes face painting, glitter tattoo, animal farm.  At 9.15pm there will be a fireworks display.
