What happens in that sacred moment of pausing?
‘Our senses heighten and suddenly we notice our breathing- smells, sights and sounds of the world around us… birds twittering, lichen on a branch, the smell of old photographs, books, gum leaves, pine needles and rain. All can evoke memories of childhood, forgotten relatives, school friends and places we’e visited. Mixed emotions of fondness, sadness and nostalgia can arise. What happens when you pause for a moment?’
