Kid’s ANZAC Drawing Workshop with Author/Illustrator Mark Wilson

Learn to draw some of the animals from author and illustrator Mark Wilson, then enjoy a stroll in our historic autumn gardens, meet our resident alpacas and enjoy a Devonshire tea.

Come and join award-winning author/illustrator Mark Wilson in the Dromkeen Gallery at 1.00pm on the 23rd April 2022, as he shares his beautiful picture books, highlighting the significance that animals have played during wartime.

You will learn about 2 little dogs, Digger and the Afghanistan Pup, and also a very brave carrier pigeon called Flapper, who saved a troupe of soldiers on Manus Island during WW1. View some original illustrations from Mark’s books and learn to draw some of the animals. This is a workshop format and suitable for 4 years to adult. Tickets are $10 children and $30 adults.

Books and prints will be available for purchase on the day.
