Chain Mail Jewellery Fit for a Queen

Using pre-made jump rings, participants will discover how to link and embellish the loops into beautiful statement jewellery. Chain mail jewellery can be made into many different finished items including earrings and necklaces. Techniques of adding different beads as well as patterns of chain mail links will also be shown .

Participants will have the opportunity to work with jewellery making tools and a variety of beads, and the basic techniques taught can be easily expanded upon after the session. Participants who have their own tools are welcome to bring them for this session.

This class is run in Studio 4, Kyneton Craftery. Kyneton Craftery is all about crafting and the studio runs a wide range of craft classes and events for all ages, including private sessions and parties. Filled to the brim with a selection of materials and tools workshops offer a taster of new crafts, or the opportunity to brush up on an old favourite.
