Autumn Community Picnic, Hosted By Friends of Kyneton Botanic Gardens
A free, community-wide BYO picnic in the Kyneton Botanic Gardens on Sunday, 19 April 2026 from 11am to 3pm and taking place especially during the Macedon Ranges Autumn Festival.
Bring along your picnic blanket and basket, and enjoy our free event. You could even purchase Pies & Tarts from the Autumn Festival Pie & Tart Trail to bring along on your picnic.
Music from the `Hey Amigos’ duet, Frank’s Caffeine Truck, Kyneton Primary School choir, organised kids activities, Friends of Kyneton Botanic Gardens – Gardeners Cottage display, and our special guest, Dr Greg Moore, conducting a panel discussion titled `KBG (Kyneton Botanic Gardens) Past, Present and Future’ and leading a guided garden walk.
While on site, take time to explore the surrounding Botanic Gardens, meander along the Campaspe River Walk, or kids can add to their day with the wonderful playground within the Kyneton Botanic Gardens, Kyneton Community Park.
