A Classical Celebration with The Gisborne Singers
Join us for an afternoon of musical discovery as we provide a unique opportunity to travel through time and experience the emotions and cultural significance embedded in these remarkable masterpieces.
The Gisborne Singers proudly present a unique concert that not only showcases musical masterpieces but also unravels the historical tapestry behind each composition.
The program includes: Handel – Zadok the Priest HWV 258 (6’), Mozart – Exsultate, jubilate K. 165 (15’), Mozart – Laudate Dominum from Vesperae Solennes de Confessore K. 339 (5’), Haydn – Te Deum, Hob. XXIII:2c (9’) and Mozart – Regina Cœli, K. 108 (17’).
Soprano soloist is Merlyn Quaife, with backing by the Macedon Ranges Chamber Orchestra.
Sunday 28 April 2024, Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 53 Ebden Street, Kyneton at 2:30pm. Sunday 5 May, St Mary’s Anglican Church, 7-19 Oshanassy St, Sunbury at 2:30pm. Afternoon tea provided after Kyneton concert only.
