Your 2026 Macedon Ranges Summertime Fling Festival Guide

From 9–31 January, the Macedon Ranges transforms into a vibrant summer playground full of laid-back vineyard experiences and unforgettable weekend events. This is when the region’s cool-climate vineyards, cellar doors, and boutique producers throw open their gates for a month-long celebration of wine, food, music, and unmistakable fresh country joie de vivre.

What’s Summertime Fling All About
Summertime Fling is more than a festival — it’s a celebration of the very essence of summer in the Macedon Ranges, bringing together the region’s winemakers, chefs, musicians and makers for four glorious weekends of relaxed cellar door events, long lunches, outdoor concerts, creative tastings and good times shared with friends old and new.

Whether you’re sipping delicate Pinot Noir under blue skies or unwinding with a rosé spritz alongside live tunes, Summertime Fling showcases the best of local wine culture paired with Macedon Ranges country hospitality.

Who’s Behind the Fling
Summertime Fling is hosted by the Macedon Ranges Vignerons Association, the local industry organisation championing all things local vines and wine. They work with cellar doors and hospitality venues across the region to curate a program that’s as diverse as it is delicious — from family-friendly afternoons to gourmet feasts and music-filled evenings.
