Rafael’s Coffee specialises in small-batch coffee roasting using ethically sourced beans from around the world.

Visits to Rafael’s Coffee Roastery are by appointment only. We are a roastery and not a cafe.

Roasting in the Macedon Ranges since 2012, we are dedicated to superior freshness, sustainable sourcing and personalised service.

We have a significant presence in the Macedon Ranges. Utilising our coffee vans, we service every Macedon Ranges’ Farmers’ Market.
Our coffee is available at the Romsey IGA, the Macedon IGA, The 1860 in Romsey, Sisko Chocolate, Romsey Coop Café, Lancefield Hotel, 600 Above in Woodend, and Fed Foodstore and Catering in Kyneton.

We are also the Macedon Ranges authorised representative of Disave, an Australian-owned and exclusive supplier of Expobar/Crem coffee machines. As an authorised representative, we provide technical support and assist with café start-ups, which to date has included the Romsey Coop Café and Fed Foodstore and Catering.

We enjoy strong relationships with our green bean providers which includes two direct importers from Brazil and Ethiopia. We’re also a member of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group and are committed to minimising our waste footprint by recycling and using compostable packaging, as well as packing to order.

One of our more recent and proud accomplishments was being awarded the Macedon Ranges Business Awards in 2024 in Excellence in Agribusiness and Food Manufacturing. We are very proud of this accomplishment given the calibre of businesses in our category.

This award recognised our outstanding achievement in, and contribution, to food, beverage and agribusiness industries in and around the Shire. Key to this is our strong connection with the local community.
