Lanes End Vineyard is situated on the South Eastern foothills of Mt William, North East of Lancefield. Planted in the mid 1980’s, we produce hand crafted premium Chardonnay ( barrel fermented and unoaked) , Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc  and Rosé. Traditional Burgundian as well as new world techniques are employed to produce multi faceted complex wines. An emphasis on bioecological pathways that enhance the soil allows the vines to thrive without input from synthetic chemicals and fertilisers. By increasing soil microbes, organic carbon and allowing grasses to keep the earth cool and maintain water, the vines not only thrive but the wines that come from the fruit grown are perceptibly improving in complexity and freshness. They are a true reflection of the vineyard with a very hands off approach when making the wine to allow the story of the vineyard to come through.
