The Newham General Store is maximizing its outdoor space this summer and hosting live music over three Saturday afternoons from 1pm-4pm throughout January.

  • 15th of Jan – Sage Roadknight a local 16y/o multi-award winning singer songwriter She conjures songs with beautiful melodies and unique vocal phrasing, referring to her song writing style as futuristic folk. Sage is a genuine storyteller, immersing her listeners in Dream Pop and Folk music, with themes traversing past and future sci-fi landscapes. Sage’s music is utterly captivating.
  • 22nd of Jan – Dan Watkins & Justin Vilchez are a phenomenal bluegrass duo with strong vocals playing the guitar and mandolin. Dan and Justin have experience playing across Australia, Canada and the USA as members of bands and sessions musicians ranging from Country, Folk to Bluegrass.
  • 29th of Jan – The Bourke Bandits are a well known local multi talented set of siblings (Brigitte, Lauren and Henry) playing as a pop rock trio.

Take advantage of the great local menu from the Newham General Store including cheese boards and enjoy some local gin and wine tasting paddles plus beers and other drinks available while listening to some outstanding artists.

This is a family friendly free event, tickets are being ‘sold’ to manage interest and facilitate any changes should they be required and don’t actually secure you a table or space. Tables are available on a first served basis.

Note – In order to attend the Newham General Store you will need to check in using the QR codes available and show your digital vaccination certificate through the Vic Services App. You must also be over 18 to order and enjoy a tasting paddle. Please have your relevant ID and Services App ready beforehand.
