Dearest Reader,

It is with the utmost delight (and just a hint of delicious gossip) that I reveal the most anticipated event of the season.

To mark 165 glorious years of The Victoria Hotel Woodend, you are cordially summoned to The Victoria Ball, an evening of splendour, scandal, and society at its most dazzling.

On Saturday 16th May, as the clock strikes six, the doors shall open to a world of candlelight, champagne whispers, and music both familiar and daringly modern. There will be dancing—oh yes, quite a lot of it—led by an orchestra worthy of the ton, before a DJ tempts even the most reserved wallflower onto the floor.

A welcoming alcoholic punch shall greet you upon arrival, accompanied by elegant canapés, delightful entertainment, and the promise that fortunes (and reputations) may be made by night’s end.

Attire, dear reader, is not merely encouraged—it will be judged. Best Dressed honours await those bold enough to dazzle the room.
