The Vessel is  a new play.

The Vessel is the story of Mary, a strong and powerful older woman, bound by physical incapacity and the confines of her room and diminishing brain. What is carried, what is hidden and what is born by the vessel, are as important as where it lands. The story is told with the assistance of four other cast members – Her daughter, a nurse, personal care assistant and roving entertainer (Clown).

NB -The Vessel will run for around 40 minutes and will be preceded by another play, a two-hander, written and directed by Paul Canlan, about a father and son – “Until Then”, which will run for around 10 minutes. Refreshments will be served at intervals.
