Hanging Rock’s Base Trail, and Creek Walking Trail are closed on Saturday 10/5/25 from 11:30am due to an event. The Summit Walking Trail remains open, however please note that dogs are strictly not permitted on this trail. Picnic areas remain open. All walking trails re-open from 9am Sunday 11/5/25.

Experience the trail each day from 25 March - 26 April.

Celebrate local food innovation, mouthwatering regional flavours and meals that give back to the planet on the Edgy Veg Trail.

Edgy cafes in the Ranges are pulling out all stops to create innovative plant-based dishes to wow your taste-buds during the Autumn Festival 2022. Each cafe has designed a drool-worthy plant-based dish for the Edgy Veg Awards 2022, battling for the title of Best Plant-Based dish.

Visit cafes or pubs on the trail, score their nominated plant-based dish to go in the draw to WIN a fabulous getaway weekend. Scoring is easy using a 5 star system, and comments are encouraged too. Your support helps local cafes to keep innovating and creating delicious dishes that pack a punch in the veggie department, are inclusive, and good for the planet and our health.

The cafe or pub that has the highest scoring dish will win the 2022 Edgy Veg Award for Best plant-based dish.
