‘Memories and Mulled Wine – Stories from the Macedon Ranges”
Stories have the power to transform, to inspire, connect us to others and even to bring healing. This will be the second of our mid winter ‘open-mic’ storytelling evenings at Dromkeen homestead in Riddells Creek. Bring a 5 minute story based on the theme of “Lost & Found” or simply come and listen to the stories of others. Your story needs to be true and you need to be one of the main characters.
The evening will begin at 7.30 with a glass of mulled wine and then we’ll gather around the open fire-place, in the cosy Dromkeen dining room, to begin our storytelling adventure. A delicious supper will be served at the end.
Our first evening took us from the plains of Africa meeting Masi Warriors and lions, to stories of coming back from the brink. Locals shared their stories with humour, honesty and simplicity, to move, inspire and entertain us. Don’t miss our next story adventure and make sure you bring a friend.
Tickets are $15, bookings via TryBooking.
