Woodend Children's Park, Nicholson Street, Woodend VIC, Australia

Pack a picnic with local produce from our wonderful providores and bakeries. Pick up a pie from along the Autumn Pie & Tart Trail. Or get takeaway from a local cafe or restaurant. Our Autumn Festival series of free live music park pop ups will get you under the autumn leaves, where you’ll be entertained by fantastic local musicians.

Our Woodend event is a brilliant day out for the family, kicking off with the Woodend Autumn Farmers Market, followed by the Beasties in the Woodend Children’s Park – an interactive petting zoo with a difference! Then the Ranges Little Big Band with special guests will take to the stage from 3-5pm to entertain you into the evening.

About The Ranges Little Big Band

What do you get when you combine 6 of the Macedon Ranges’ top Horn players with a hot, local Bass, Drums, Piano and Guitar? A huge Big Band sound in the Little Big Band package! Featuring special guest local vocalists and arrangements from the pen of Musical Director & Saxophonist Shaun Evans — this isn’t your Grandparent’s Big Band! You’ll hear that classic swingin’ sound, but mixed with classic Rock, sweet Soul, juicy Jazz and worldy rhythms. Don’t miss the Ranges Little Big Band!
