Underwater World is a collaborative mural project using recycled sticker materials to create a wild oceanic underwater world of corals, sponges and sea creatures.

Participants shall be empowered to express their wonder and love of oceanic life forms and their ecological importance through making a large-scale artwork together.

Using recycled plastic material, in the form of gleaned off-cuts and end-of-roll from sign-writing adhesives participants create a colourful and exuberant underwater wonderland inspired by the diverse life forms found in the sea.

Participants will also make a smaller collage to take home.

With an underlying message of environmental awareness and remind us of the issues with plastics in the oceans and the environmental damage they cause.

Kids need to be able to use scissors, hole punches unaided and manage the peeling action of the stickers from the backing, or bring with them a support person!
