Katherine Brabon’s debut novel The Memory Artist won the 2016 The Australian/Vogel’s Literary Award.
Hear Katherine talk about how her ideas for the novel began as a student of Russian history at Oxford. She will describe her travels to Moscow and St Petersburg, as well as sources of inspiration in literature, trauma studies and cultural memory theory. The talk will conclude with questions from the audience.
