Music & Guitar Workshop

This Workshop is for beginning to intermediate guitarist who like to improve their playing in the most musical way possible. ​We’ll dive into gear and technique and ultimately, we will create and record a song together on the fly.

This 4-hour workshop sits right in between a Masterclass and a Workshop. I will play live songs using my looping set-up to start with. The heart and soul of this workshop is to create a song together using my looping set-up, including guitar, bass, vocals, piano and midi instruments like drums. We will touch upon creating your sound, discover the power of looping, explore songwriting and learn to get into the groove.

​The foundation of this workshop stems from a conviction that the best way to practice your instrument is to play it in the context of live music, even if that is just by playing it by yourself!

There is no need to prepare, just bring your guitar, some enthusiasm and enjoy. The venue is a 30 seat theatre at the popular Baringo Bistro and Bar, right next to Gisborne Station (50 min from Melbourne CBD). So book yourself a ticket and have a great Friday afternoon.
